I called apple and the guy i talked to actually said, and i quote "Best bet if you don't own another Mac is to go to "the bay" download leopard and then upgrade from the app store to Mountain lion. But i have no way of getting Snow leopard or Mountain Lion to the new HDD i have installed on the MBP. So my question is this, I have no hard copy available of snow leopard, wife doesn't know where it is. So anyway, my wife apparently has lost her Snow leopard disk, never made a backup disk, downloaded Mountain Lion and installed it about 1 month before it died. ![]() About 95% of the time i cannot even access Utilities. ![]() I cant recover, reinstall, repair ect from any of the disk utilities.
